- The iMac (Flat Panel) represented the first major design change to the three year old iMac design. Based around a 15" LCD display it was available in three configurations. One came with a 700MHz G4, with 128MB of RAM, a 40GB drive, and a CD-RW. The second came with a 700MHz G4, with 256MB of RAM, a 40GB drive, and a DVD/CD-RW combo drive. The last came with a 800MHz G4, with 256MB of RAM, a 60GB drive, and a SuperDrive.
