iMac Flat Panel

Announced in January 2002, the iMac (Flat Panel) represented the first major design change to the three year old iMac design. Its processor also got upgraded to a G4.

The Flat Panel iMac, which sported a white finish, featured a stainless steel neck which connected the flat panel LCD display to the dome base. The neck allowed the display to be pivoted and tilted in myriad of ways.
